Love is not jealous

Day 8

"Determine to become your spouse's biggest fan and to reject any thoughts of jealousy. To help you set your heart on your spouse and focus on their achievements, take yesterday's list of negative attributes and discreetly burn it. Then share with your spouse how glad you are about a success he recently enjoyed."

Well, I didn't actually burn the list, I showed it to the shredder instead! It felt really good too. It seems that now days people focus so much more on the negative side of things that they forget all the positive that still exists. I have caught myself thinking that way and it doesn't make me feel good at all. Matter of fact, I feel pretty crummy!!! I spoke to Logan today after dinner and expressed my joy for him. This man is BRAVE! He went off to Airborne school and had never jumped out of a airplane and now he's a pro! What many people don't know is the military doesn't make many things fun but if you can look at the beneficial side, anything can be turned into something exciting. He was dreading this school for a few reasons, the first one being he's not near his wife and children. He doesn't feel at ease when he's far from home with nobody to confide in, can you blame him? The second reason being he's around these "higher ups" that look at all the soldiers as dumb ass' that have just entered into the military no matter what your rank is. Logan stuck through the grueling three weeks in Georgia and graduated with his wings and I am SOO proud of him. He needed to hear it too. It's like telling him I love him although he knows I do, but to be reminded of it never gets old.
